No issues arriving at LHR. Departing using British Airways was extremely long, lining up to checkin, lining up to go through security check and finding the correct location of the terminal building - needed a train ride - British Airways have several terminals after completing the checkin and security check.

1 hour queue at check in , very poor. Iberia IT system is diferent to BA system . They did not bother to send my luggage with me on my flight! Only arrived in São Paulo 4 days later

Lost my luggage. When it was returned everything in it was completely soaked. There was not one dry article of clothing. Not one. It was a hard cover suitcase so mor must have been out all Night in the rain or literally dropped in a pool

Heathrow's layout is a disaster. Getting from point A to point B usually involves 3 escalators, 5 moving walkways, 2 wrong turns and aching feet.

The improvments at terminla 2 have made my stop over much more pleasant
London Heathrow Airport – the Europe's largest airport. It is located 24 km west of the centre of London. It is one of the five airports serving the London metropolis (along with Gatwick, City, Stansted and Luton). Almost 100 airlines provide domestic and international connections. The airport is located almost in the city centre. There are many hotels nearby, unfortunately a majority of them are relatively expensive.

Bus
The bus runs around the clock, and the approximate ticket price is £ 7. By bus we get to both London and other airports – here, however, the ticket may be more expensive.
Rail
The route between the centre and London Heathrow Airport is served by the Heathrow Express, which leaves regularly every 15 minutes from Paddington Station. We will pay about 15 pounds for the ticket, the travel time is about 30 minutes. An alternative to the train is the District Line metro line, which runs from 5am to 24.00, here we pay about 6 pounds for the ticket. The prices given are approximate.

Getting to Heathrow by car using the M4 motorway takes about 90 minutes. Currently, due to security reasons, there is no way to go to the terminal itself. Leave the car at the long term car park and continue with the shuttle bus.

Each terminal has its own short-term parking lot. There are also long-term parking lots, as well as Valet Parking and Business Parking.
Information – information points are located in every terminal.
Gastronomy – on the area of the airport you will find numerous bars, restaurants, cafes and pubs.
Finances – passengers can use the services of currency exchange offices and withdraw money from ATMs located in the port area.
Shopping – numerous retail outlets offer a wide range of goods. These include, among others, music stores, bookstores, press sales outlets, electronics stores, perfumeries, pharmacies, shoe stores, etc.
Car rental – six companies provide services in this field at the airport.
Luggage – a lost-and-found office is run by Excess Baggage Company (tel. +44 (0) 20 8745 7727). Luggage storage facilities are located in each of the terminals.
Internet – there are special internet kiosks on the area of the airport with access to the network. In addition, all terminals have wireless access offered by three operators.
Disabled – the airport is well prepared for the disabled.
