Generally, I felt although the airport was busy there were better facilities than at EMA. The toilets needed repairs though

Rhodes International Airport “Diagoras” is the fourth busiest airport in Greece. It is located on the island of Rhodes, about 14 kilometers southwest of the capital city, Rhodes.
The airport was built in 1977. Today, nearly 80 airlines – budget, charter, and regular – operate out of Diagoras International Airport. It handles over 4,5 million passengers every year.
There is a hotel near the airport.

By bus
The bus stop is situated outside the Terminal 1, about 300 meters to the left of the exit door. Local bus network provides travel between the airport and the city of Rhodes several times a day, seven days a week.
The travel time is approximately 40 minutes. A single ticket costs around €2.20.
There is a taxi rank located outside the terminal building.
To access the airport by car, you should take the main road along the north-west coast of the island. Then just follow the signs to the airport.

Disabled passengers – the airport is adapted to the needs of passengers with disabilities and offers special assistance if necessary.
Food and drinks – passengers can relax at the bar, a coffee house, or a restaurant at the airport.
Shopping – there is also a duty-free shop offering souvenirs, alcohol, and tobacco products. Several newsstands, candy stores, and gift shops are to be found in check-in area (before security).
Financial services – passengers will find a bank branch, several ATMs, and currency exchange facilities at the airport.
Car rental – there are four car rental companies serving the airport: Sixt, Avis, Hertz, and National.
Health – first-aid medical care is provided at the airport in all emergency situations.
